Introducing the latest member of our Customer Support Team ... Ella Boakes!

Despite the challenges that 2020 has brought for many of us, here at Boosh 365, we’re still determined to continue to grow our business so that we can better support our customers.

Our plans for adding a new team member may have been delayed due to COVID-19, but I am very excited to announce that we recently welcomed a brand new team member to our Customer Support Team.

As many of you will already know, we have always been passionate about giving young people opportunities here at Boosh 365. Over the past 8 years we have employed many apprentices and we’re really proud that we have given so many young people a great start to their career. Some of you may not know that our lovely Gemma started as an apprentice five years ago, and has risen through the ranks to become our Customer Support Manager.

We’ve seen an increase in demand from our customers in recent months, with many needing additional support to improve their remote working setups. We’ve also added a number of new customers who’s old systems didn’t support modern day working or who weren’t getting the best support from their existing telecoms providers.

After much searching, interviewing and shortlisting, we are delighted to welcome Ella Boakes to our Boosh 365 family.

Here's a little more about Ella

Can you tell us a little bit about your journey and experience to date?

After finishing school in 2015 I decided that I wanted to go to college as well as do as much travelling as I could. I ended up attending Alton College and studying a Level 3 Diploma in Business as well as working part-time at Waitrose. After I completed college and saving up as much money as I could, I decided to start off my travels in Thailand where I volunteered at an elephant sanctuary, I then flew to Bali from there and then lastly went to Australia where I worked and travelled. After I returned in May 2019, I did some temporary work as well as working for my dad’s company.

Why did you want to work for Boosh 365?

I really enjoyed working as a Customer Service Assistant at Waitrose and a big part of this was learning how to please customers and give them the best experience I possibly could during their visit. I knew because of this that Customer Service/Support was a career that I wanted to peruse. When I saw the job opportunity at Boosh 365, I knew this would be such a great foundation to building the first steps in my career.

Quickfire Questions for Ella

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I have always wanted to learn the piano; I really love how beautiful it sounds and have always been fascinated with learning to play.

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?

I would go on holiday to a luxury resort in the Maldives!

Which three words to best describe you?

Kind, funny and friendly.

What’s the last book you read?

The last book I read was called “I fell from the sky” by Juliane Koepcke. It is based on the author who as a young girl was flying from Peru back home for Christmas when her plane ended up in a heavy thunderstorm and fell 2 miles into the Amazon rainforest. Juliane was the only survivor and spent 11 days alone in the jungle trying to survive all the elements. She was eventually found and bought to safety. It is the best book I have ever read.

What’s on your bucket list?

I would love to go on a Safari in Africa.

What’s the funniest joke you know?

Did you hear about the claustrophobic astronaut? He just needed a little space.

What’s your biggest pet hate?

Lazy people!

This is a tough one – but it must be one of the Taken films with Liam Neeson!

I am an avid bodybuilder and spend hours every day in the gym!
