Having an IT support package is the best way to protect your business from everyday IT issues that can seriously disrupt your day and eat up your time. If you have an IT support package, you would just need to give them a call or email into their ticketing system to log your issue. They will then be able to set up/ resolve what you need them to. Unless your business has an in-house IT support team IT issues will often fall to the director, business owner or manager to resolve. In our experience, the cost involved in a senior member of the team dealing with these issues time wise, is more than the cost of having an IT support package for your business.

IT support packages will cover support for things like:

  • Emails – Setting up new users, username changes, resetting passwords, changing permissions, fixing syncing issues.
  • Wi-Fi & Broadband – investigating slow Wi-Fi, router configuration, firmware updates, setting up new users, raising broadband faults, troubleshooting & line testing
  • IT Hardware – Setting up new users, connecting new hardware, setting up network printers, adding new devices to networks, virus support/ rescue, laptop/ PC/ Mac issues
  • Hosted Software/ Cloud Solutions – support when things go wrong, setting up new users

We recommend going down the monthly subscription route, where you would pay a set monthly price per user. This would mean that if you have 10 people in your team you would pay a set amount for each user which would give you access to unlimited support. Your team members would simply email or call in and someone in our technical team would pick up your query and deal with it for you. Most of the time they can talk you through your issue or log onto your PC and fix the problem for you.

If it was a more serious problem and you needed an engineer to come to site there would be additional charges for this.

If you have one off projects that you wanted support with, we would quote you on these individually. This could be things like migrating a server, or email account. It could also include things like office moves etc.
